<p><b>STEP 1: Go here: <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/timeline">Google Maps</a><br>

STEP 2: Click on the settings icon next to the MAP|SATELLITE buttons<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 3: Click on "Download a copy of all my data"<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 4: Scroll down a bit and click on "Deselect all"<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 5: Scroll down and find "Location History," select it<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 6: Scroll to the bottom and click "Next step"<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 7: Click on "Export once" and change the file type and size to ".zip" and 50 GB (It won't actually download 50 GB, just to make sure it gets everything)<br>

STEP 8: Click on "Create export"<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 9: Check your email and download the produced data (It might take a while to arrive)<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 10: Unzip the .zip file you receive and put the files somewhere<br>
|
|

|
|
STEP 11: Open <a href="https://earth.google.com">Google Earth</a><br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 12: In the left sidebar, click on "Projects"<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 13: Click on "Open" and "Import KML file from computer"<br>
|
|
---<br>
|
|
STEP 14: Navigate to the files you unzipped from the download, and go into "Location history" and then select the "Location History.kml" file</b></p>
