I spent some more time receiving images from various weather satellites, not limited to the NOAA ones but also including the Meteor satellites from Russia. I made some more attempts in the daylight, and got a satisfactory image with the NOAA-15 satellite, and also a very cool one using the Meteor M2-3 satellite (which apparently is the only one operating on 137MHz currently).
